It is more than 15 years ago when I first strapped on a snowboard. At the age of 12 I already built little jumps on the backyard of our house so I could snowboard. I was hooked from the beginning. I still remember my first day riding in the powder. Amazing. I think I was quite talented. So I progressed pretty fast and my first international appearance was in 1996 in Japan . I got second at the junior world championships in the half pipe.
After that I got offered sponsoring deals and my snowboard life started. In 1999 I became professional after I graduated from school. That was also the year when I won probably the biggest competition in snowboarding, the air and style. I could accomplish that the next two years as well. On what my hand and footprints were taken in concrete. Now they are in a popular street in Vienna. Further I was also quite successful at the biggest snowboard event in Japan. At the Toyota Big Air in Sapporo I was 5 years in a row on the podium. In the US I once did the x- games and the gravity games where I got 3 rd. Besides the competition I was snowboarding in various snowboard videos and worked together with special interest magazines. In the season 05/06 I won the FIS big air world cup.

My wish for the future is that I can do the sport that I love for many more years. Snowboarding rocks
